I was VERY disappointed with this book, especially at the price I paid for it. It has some basic advice on how to take ANY standardized test, then a list of definitions of biological terms which anyone planning to take the MTEL biology would already know.
The claims by the book to be a “Study guide” are false. A study guide should consist of at least a couple of complete sample tests that one can go through from A to Z. The authors should have at least attempted to create a sample test, but they did not.
My advice: Do not buy this book. It will not help you at all.
