The Early Childhood 02 MTEL flashcards were not very helpful to me. No doubt the flashcards contained a lot of information, but they focused mainly on preschoolers. Hence, there was too much information about preschool classrooms (which will not be on the test). There wasn’t ANY information on the other parts of the Early Childhood 02 MTEL test, such as the math section, geography/history section, and science section. I was extremely disappointed when I found out that the flashcards focused solely on early childhood development. If I wanted to run my own preschool program, then yea, these flashcards would have been helpful. However, most of the information will not be beneficial towards the test.
